About Team Altius

Update for 2022-24:

Thor Sheppard is now training with Biathlon Alberta Training Center in Canmore, AB. However, he is still racing for Team Altius.

Who We Are

Team Altius is the biathlon compeition team for Altius Handcrafted Firearms. We are based in West Yellowstone, MT but have members from all around the western region. We mainly compete at the local and national levels as a USBA-registered club, but do travel to Canada regularly, and have sent parts of our team to Europe.

Our Stats

Our athletes are regularly on the podium at national-level events, and many of our athletes have national titles. We have qualified athletes for the US IBU Youth/Junior World Championships team, US IBU Cup Team, US Junior IBU Cup Team, and US Liatoppen Skiskytterfestival team. In addition, we have had an athlete qualify for the US Junior National Team.
